Teams supported by Codalent

Ship without hour anxiety

Run tests, landing pages and optimisations without checking whether each one eats into a monthly limit. The team is already reserved for you.

We take complete ownership for improvements of your system

We do not wait for instructions. Monthly audits surface tech debt, and we fix issues and propose improvements before they turn into problems.

All hands on deck when something breaks, 7 days a week

Downtime, performance collapses and broken critical flows pull in whoever is needed, ahead of all planned work.

How we work

What working with Codalent looks like

One Slack channel, one shared board, one weekly call — the same access you'd have with people sitting in your office.

  1. Onboarding in the first week

We set you up with access to your stack, repositories, hosting and analytics, and introduce the team who will run the work.

  2. A dedicated Slack channel

Questions get answered in hours, not scheduled into a call. Our AI bots post daily updates, flag errors as they happen and turn conversations into tasks.

  3. A live Kanban board in ClickUp

Every task is visible on a shared board. Raise your own, set the priority, and follow each one from backlog through code and client review to deployed.

  4. A weekly sync on Zoom or Google Meet

Once a week we cover what shipped, what is in flight and what comes next.

Assign a task to Codalent AI and get a PR in minutes

Codalent AI is our in-house development agent. Assign it a task on the board you already use, exactly as you would a human developer, and it starts work straight away.

Works with
  • ClickUp
  • Trello
  • Jira
  • Asana
  • Linear
  • Notion
  • GitHub Issues
  1. Assign it like a teammate

Pick Codalent AI as the assignee on any task in your tracker. No new tool to learn and no separate queue to manage.

  2. It reads the whole task

The description, the requirements and the comment thread all become context before a single line of code is written.

  3. You get a PR and a preview

It posts a summary back in the comments with a link to the GitHub pull request and a preview link, ready for review.

FAQs

Pricing FAQs

What does “unlimited development requests” actually mean?

You can raise as many requests as you like, and there is no cap on the backlog. They are worked on one at a time in the order you prioritise them, within the developer hours your plan reserves. It means no gatekeeping on what you ask for, not unlimited output in a month.

How is the retainer billed?

Monthly, in US dollars, in advance of the month it covers. There is no setup fee. On-demand work is the reverse: we bill at the end of the month for the hours consumed, with a 20-hour monthly minimum.

How do the commitment discounts work?

Committing to three months takes $200/month off the part-time retainer and $300/month off the full-time one. Six months takes off $400 and $650. The discount holds for the length of the commitment and is reflected in the prices above when you switch the commitment toggle.

Can I switch between plans or cancel?

Yes. Rolling monthly retainers can be changed or stopped at the next renewal, and you can move between part-time and full-time as your roadmap changes. If you are inside a 3- or 6-month commitment, the change takes effect when that term ends. Exact notice terms are confirmed in your agreement.

What happens if we need more than the reserved hours in a month?

On the part-time retainer you can add hours at $40/hour, which is below the on-demand rate. On the full-time retainer you can add a second developer, design or QA support. We flag it before the extra work starts, never after.

Do unused hours roll over?

On the on-demand plan, unused hours roll over for one month. Retainers reserve capacity rather than sell hours, so unused time does not carry forward — the trade-off is guaranteed availability and response times in the months you need them.

What timezone does the team work in?

The team is based in India and works 9am to 6pm IST, Monday to Friday. Technical project managers stay reachable until 11pm IST for weekly calls and urgent launches, and one of our project managers is based in Japan and works Japan hours, which helps if your day starts earlier.

Which hours does the team work?

Monday to Friday, with a working window agreed at onboarding so it overlaps your team's day. Emergency coverage for outages and broken critical flows runs seven days a week on both retainers.

What is not included?

Third-party costs sit with you: hosting, licences, SaaS subscriptions, paid media and any tooling we recommend. Design and QA are add-ons rather than part of the core retainer, and large migrations or rebuilds are usually better scoped as a project alongside the retainer.

Who owns the code and the accounts?

You do. Repositories, hosting, domains and analytics stay in your accounts, and we work with named access. If the retainer ends, nothing has to be handed back because nothing was ever held hostage.
